Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver first aid and emergency care in compliance with HCPSS policies, Maryland State Department of Education guidelines, and the Maryland Nurse Practice Act.
- Perform nursing tasks according to prescribers’ orders and within licensure limits.
- Maintain professional development to provide safe, high-quality care.
- Collaborate with the Supervising RN to ensure student health records are accurate and compliant with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Observe and report health concerns, referring findings promptly to the Supervising RN and HCPSS school nurse.
- and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Valid LPN license in the state of Maryland.
- Current CPR/AED certification.
- Strong understanding of the Maryland Nurse Practice Act.
