Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Float Pool team in a high-acuity pediatric environment. This role requires strong PICU experience, with the flexibility to float between PICU, CVPICU, and NICU to meet facility needs. Key Responsibilities

βœ… Provide comprehensive care to critically ill pediatric patients in PICU, CVPICU, and NICU settings.
βœ… Manage ventilators, central lines, ECMO, and other advanced life support equipment.
βœ… Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using Cerner EHR.
βœ… Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
βœ… Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, infection control measures, and patient safety guidelines.

Requirements

βœ” Education: ASN or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
βœ” Experience: 2+ years of RECENT PICU or CVPICU experience required.
βœ” Certifications: BLS & PALS (Required).
βœ” Licensure: Active or Pending DC RN License accepted.
βœ” Float Requirement: Must be comfortable floating between PICU, CVPICU, and NICU.
βœ” Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend (EOW); block scheduling available.
βœ” RTO (Requested Time Off): Maximum 7 days; if requesting 1 full consecutive week, must extend contract.
