We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) RN to join our team in a high-acuity pediatric setting. The ideal candidate must have 2.5 - 3 years of recent PICU experience and be comfortable rotating shifts every 3-4 weeks. Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive, high-quality nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU.

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, administer medications, and implement treatment plans.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
β
Maintain compliance with BLS certification, hospital policies, and infection control protocols.
β
Be flexible to float to other critical care units as needed.
Requirements
β Experience: Minimum 2.5 - 3 years of recent PICU experience required.
β Certifications: BLS (Required).
β Licensure: Active or Pending DC RN License accepted (must provide proof of submission & date).
β Floating: Must be willing to float to other critical care units as needed.
β Shift Rotation: Required every 3-4 weeks; facility will try to accommodate straight shifts but cannot guarantee it on contract.
β Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend (EOW).
β Holiday Requirement: Every Other Holiday.
β RTO (Requested Time Off): Max 7 days; if requesting 1 full week, must extend contract to make up time.
