We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide exceptional patient care at our facility in Glen Burnie, Maryland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients' physical and mental health, including tracking vital signs and documenting medical histories.
- Administer medications under the supervision of a physician or registered nurse, while tracking usage and effects.
- Assist with IVs, vaccinations, and phlebotomies.
- Review medical records and document patient intakes and health concerns.
- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
- Manage medical supplies and inventory.
- Adhere to patient care plans and contribute to their implementation.
- Assist in the orientation and training of new staff members.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to report on patient progress and challenges.
- Help patients with daily activities, including eating and mobility.
Qualifications:
- Current LPN license in the state of Maryland.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
