Shifts: 3x12 (Day/Night)
Start Date: Must begin within 3-4 weeks of submission
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Summary: We are currently seeking a dedicated Pediatric Dialysis RN to join our team for a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of recent dialysis experience. Pediatric dialysis experience is preferred but not required. This position requires flexibility and commitment to weekend and on-call shifts.
Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Experience: 2 years of recent dialysis experience required (pediatric experience preferred but not mandatory).
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- On-Call: Required as needed, including a minimum of 5 overnight on-call shifts per month (1-2 weekend 24-hour on-call shifts).
- Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend (EOW).
- Shift Details:
- 3x12 shifts (Day/Night)
- 1-2 Saturday morning shifts per month for extra patient treatments
- Ratio: 1:1-2
- RTO: 1 week max; must make up if the entire week is taken. RTO cannot be changed after submission, so confirm with your traveler before submitting the profile.
- Local Candidates: Accepted
- Pending License: Acceptable at time of submission, but the candidate must provide proof of license pending and advise on the expected arrival date. A valid license is required before the start date.
Additional Details:
- Overtime: Overtime will be billed after 48 hours per week if working 4x12 shifts.
- Block Schedule: No guarantee of block scheduling, but the facility will try to accommodate if it fits their needs.
- Floating: The clinician will not float outside their scope of practice to meet facility needs.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $55.00 - $75.00 per hour
